Vision

International Hemp Environmental Forum (IHEF) is the international network with members who are the experts on hemp and environmental issue, first formed on January in 2016 aiming for development of hemp broadly.

Those countries are Argentina, Australia, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, CzechRepublic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Guyana, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Nepal, Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Ukraine and USA.

Some members are experts in Hemp business or industry, some are merchants, some are journalists, and some are involved with academic field, researchers.

Our common goal is making sustainable future utilizing the usefulness of hemp for human being and environment of the earth.”

⒈ “The 1st International Environmental Forum” aka “Kyoto Hemp Forum”

;where the Kyoto Protocol was concluded at COP3 in 1997

Hosted by the NPO Japan Hemp Association as a launch event for IHEF

Lectures by 4 people from Japan, including Mr. Miki, the head of the Awa Inbe clan, and 2 hemp growers

Lectures by 9 international hemp players from 8 countries

In the afternoon, a general round-table discussion was held with Mr, Kadokawa, the mayor of Kyoto, Ms. Akie Abe (First Lady of the time), and Mr. Tanaka, the chief priest of Kamigamo Shrine.

The 2nd IHEF Forum was organized by the Thai Industrial Hemp Trade Association (TIHTA) to discuss the BCG model.

Held under the concept of BioEconomy, Circular economy, Green Economy

EXPO was also attached to the same venue

Held with the support of 20 speakers invited from overseas by IHEF

A total of 300 companies, 200 domestic and 100 overseas, exhibited at the EXPO
